Rowan focuses their art on the fantasy genre, specializing in character portraits, as well as a variety of chibi emotes and designs. Ty works exclusively in pixel art, evoking retro games of yore. Ty's Pixel Art

I'm Ty, I make pixel art and sprites.

I can make sprite sheets for games or for "pngtubers" for use with programs like veadotube. I have also made loading screens for streaming or sprites for educational content. Specializing in 8-bit and 16-bit styles but can do higher rez at higher rates.

Commission Rates

Half price to start all commissions; three revisions allowed. More revisions available at additional cost, artist has right to deny additional revisions based on availability.

Icon is a static image. Animations can be used in games as a sprite sheet or pngtuber software (starting at 4 frames or so). Full Screen can cover 1920 x 1600 or similar common banner/monitor sizes. Full Screen Animations includes a few looping frames (4-12 frames).

Commissioning Process

Before you request a slot:

  • All prices are estimates. An initial, non-refundable deposit will need to be made before any work is done.

  • We accept all requests, but no requests are a guarantee of a commission slot.

  • We may or may not be able to deliver on the vision you have in mind; our communications back to you will be forthright about this, and we will be clear if we feel we cannot do the art.

  • We will not create any artwork depicting hate speech, racism, bigotry, or other objectionable materials.

How to request a commission:

  • Please submit requests by email or Twitter DM; include style, a reference or two, and your price range (see commission sheet on our respective pages). Please keep initial request details brief; we will need and acquire more details once we reach back out to you!

  • If we have open slots, please allow a day or two for us to get back to you; we will ask you to provide us with further details and references at that time.

  • If there are no open slots, you may still send requests but the wait time to hear back from us must be considered to be indefinite as we work on our current commissions.

  • We will make every effort to notify by our website or socials if slots are open or closed, but we cannot guarantee their accuracy as we receive more requests.

After hearing back from us:

  • Sketches will be made and delivered after initial deposit for your perusal.

  • After sketch delivery, the final artwork will be made and delivered after receipt of the full commission cost.

  • Commission timings vary widely. Please be patient as we bring your dreams to life! You will be notified of delivery timing estimates based on size of work involved after funds are transferred.

  • Artwork is delivered as digital images and may be watermarked depending on stage of process. No physical images are made or delivered by us.

Payment:

  • We accept Paypal.

  • For work to begin, a deposit is required. This is usually 50%.

  • Deposits and full price of commissions are nonrefundable.

  • You will be notified at time of commission being made of estimates and deposits required.

Full TOS will be sent along with invoice as slots become available.
